About Membership

The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the parent organization of ACHE-Minnesota (ACHE-MN), has over 40,000 members in all 50 states and internationally. They include not-for-profit and for-profit leaders, military servicemen, students, and more organized by 72 Regions over 7 Districts.

ACHE-MN is your local chapter of ACHE. With over 630 members we are one of the larger ACHE Chapters.  ACHE-MN membership is highly diverse in terms of gender, age, race and ethnicity. There is no additional charge for local chapter membership. You are automatically a member ACHE-MN based on your business address if you are a Member, Diplomate, Fellow or Student Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. As your local chapter, ACHE-MN offers our members a chance to connect with other Healthcare Professionals for education, assistance in advancement in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Category One Face-to-Face Credit and Qualified Educational Opportunities, networking and so much more.

Professional Background of Members – The business of healthcare is entrusted to leaders of many different backgrounds; clinicians and non-clinicians alike. Through education and networking, ACHE-MN and ACHE encourage and provide members of all types the opportunity to increase their knowledge of business principles and leadership competencies.

Student/Faculty – ACHE-MN is dedicated to the success of the next generation of healthcare leaders through our partnerships with local universities. Our student members have a voice on the ACHE-MN board and are exposed to mid- and senior-level professionals that can serve as valued mentors.

Fellows – Maximize your professional potential by earning the premier credential in healthcare management. When you become board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow (FACHE), you’ll have the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed. President/CEO – ACHE-MN is proud to count some of Minnesota’s top healthcare executives among its ranks. These instrumental leaders regularly volunteer their time and expertise to our membership in terms of local and national board participation, mentorship, educational presentations, healthcare advocacy, and much more.

Early Careerists – Members or Fellows of ACHE who are under the age of 40 automatically belong to the ACHE Early Careerist Network.  The national chapter has a wealth of resources for early careerists and the ACHE-MN Chapter works diligently so that early careerists are provided the education, resources, and connections to assist in their professional growth and development.
